Sr. Change Manager

Acosys Consulting is actively seeking to hire a Sr. Change Manager to join our government client.
 
The government client is seeking a Sr. Change Manager to support remote collaboration, workplace flexibility, new tools and skills to reshape the way we understand our workplace. Technologies such as M365 are enabling new ways of delivering business capabilities and value. A combination of digital solutions and process simplification is at the center of the solution and is viewed as a key step towards the transformation of the federal client’s culture and building the skills that enable the workforce to
adapt to the new normal. The need to provide the structure, method, and tools to support this effort is critical.
 
Tasks/Deliverables
  • Identify the most expected and potential points of resistance to change.
  • Develop counter strategies to reduce the
  • Create specific change management plans with respect to training and orientation of employees for each major change/project;
  • Develop a detailed work plan based on the change agenda and how the various changes will need to be implemented;
  • Establish parameters to measure the early adoption, effective utilization and proficiency to new change initiatives for individual employees and organizational units;
  • Conduct an assessment of change impact and requirements;
  • Identify deviations in performance from the change standards and implement strategies for corrective action to achieve full organizational adoption to change;
  • Establish and maintain a close engagement with specialists from the HR, training and communication branches to ensure a smooth transition to change and organization-wide successful implementation of these change initiatives;
  • Develop a change management and communications strategy and plan for each project;
  • Transfer functional and technical knowledge to the project team and client staff through individual and group training, demonstrations, written instructions and documents on an ongoing basis throughout the life of the project; and
  • Maintain all project artifacts as per established document management requirements for the department and Treasury Board (TB) policy.
  • Demonstrates ability to work with an executive team helping them shape the initiative including establishing clearly articulated vision, scope, outcomes, and guiding principles.
  • Ensures that the change and communications elements are an integral part of the direction of the initiative

  • Develops a change management and communications plan to support the completion of the current state assessment
  • Conducts impact analyses, assess change readiness
  • Develops key communications to support all stakeholder groups.
  • Supports the development of the initiative and change/communications governance structure to support the broad communications of the federal client
  • Develop a detailed work plan based on the change agenda and how the various changes will need to be implemented
  • Establish parameters to measure the early adoption, effective utilization and proficiency to new change
  • Provides guidance and leadership in supporting the federal client’s change team
 
Mandatory Requirements
  • Hold a valid Enhanced Clearance
  • Hold a recognized accreditation in change management (CCMP, CMS,CPCM, Change Management Certificate Program from the Association for Talent Development Prosci Change Management Certification, APGM Organizational Change Management Foundation, AIM Change Management Certification)
  • Hold University degree in Business/ IT related
  • Experience with M365 in digital transformation, collaboration and the understanding of new remote method of working
  • 10+ years experience, within the last 15 years, as a lead consultant for a nationwide, regional business or government transformation project, where the proposed resource developed transition plans with a focus on change management and communications.
  • 5+ years’ experience, developing a range of transition strategies including change management, training and communications. Task preformed must have included:
  • a. Identifying the most expected and potential points of resistance to change. Developing counter strategies to reduce the resistance and address the doubts and uncertainty surrounding the change to foster a positive acceptance of change;
  • b. Creating specific change management plans with respect to training and orientation of employees for each major change/project;
  • c. Conducting an assessment of change impact and requirements; and d. Developing a change management and communications strategy and plan for each project
  • 5+ years’ experience documenting processes and roles and responsibilities.
